vogue stitch book 5 lace

only a month after coming out i have just ordered the vogue stitchonary 5 lace book and I'm very excited about it coming, it should take 1-3 weeks from amazon and i can't wait my rowan classic casuals book has not come yet i am very upset about this and am watching the post as it comes.

dads jumper is coming on well and i only have a small amount of sleeve to knit left and then i can block and sew up the jumper.

in the next few weeks i will be buying some dye and wool and will be starting my own dye business and will be dyeing sock wool so keep looking on my blog.

The knitting parlour malvern

Today i have visited a new wool shop in malvern The knitting parlour and liked it very much the shop was light and full of nice diffrent yarns even some handspun handpainted malvern yarn made just down the road.

i had to have this sock wool it was a beautiful colourway of pink green and blue. contining my hunt throught the wool shop i found a beautiful sock wool by araucania in colourway ranco multy that is a woodland colour.

even thought she did not have what i wanted i would recoment going to this wool shop do not take the website for face vaule the shop is so much better and is really worth a visit.

cable jumper more.

Today i have managed to to finish the front of my cable jumper and i hoping to make a large dent in the first sleeve when i am on holiday.

my birthday is soon and know that i have some Jameson and smith jumper wool coming to make two cushions that are made with short row shaping.

also at the moment i am still waiting for my classic casuals rowan book that is on its way but at the moment get knitted has natural dye studio silk lace weight which i have ordered in kingfisher but they do have some sock wool in the sale.

while on hoilday i am also hoping to visit the wool shop the knitting parlour in greater malvern to buy some rowan kisilk haze in a pale creme or pink to make an eighties inspired lace jumper out of knitting magazines.

rowan casual classics

As you will know i love rowan and have just received an email telling me that i am going to have to wait 3 weeks for my new rowan casual classics book so i still cant start the blue cable knit cardigan on the front of the book.
dads black cable jumper is coming on well except for one mis-crossed cable that i am going to have to fix and one point even thought its not that noticeable i know its there and its going to annoy me.
yesterday i did have a very productive day had my hair done and went jogging very bad idea i am feeling the price now and i who hate and cant cook made an edible crumble yesterday so I'm very happy.
