tags for yarn mayhem kits.

for my business i an making kits and hand dyed wool and i need to make tags for the business, these are going well and ive been learning many new skills in stamping and embossing onto card as well as velum paper.
the tags are going well but i have made some mistakes in which card to use and if it has a shine to the card, what happens if it does is that the stamp can take upwards of 12 hours to dry which is what happened yesterday.

new dog coat

for my very old whippet i always make a series of dog coats for him to wear in the house and under his waterproof coat for outdoors.

his new dog coat is a specific whippet coat that is shaped to fit the whippet dog, knitting it has been easy i a using sirdar bonus chunky in a wonderful bright purple.
for a dog coat i always use a cheaper high acrylic wool for durability and ease of washing.
the coat is going really well and looks very cosy.

dorset buttons

For last years collection i fell in love with dorset buttons, having just ordered a book on how to make spiral  and beaded ones.
i always thought that my buttons would be too expensive to make but having just started and etsy account i have seen that many crafts persons sell buttons for as much as 8 pounds each for my Dorset buttons i never would sell them for 8 pounds but i am going to sell 1 for 5 pounds 2 for 9 pounds and 4 for 18 pounds.

to go with my Dorset buttons i suddenly found that i had to make tags for the buttons to be attached to so ive started to make tags using a stamp and some pearl paper as well as my business card.

new beads for the shop.

on a recent work trip to graduate fashion week when in Covent garden i found one of the most amazing bead shops i have ever seen the beads are all hand made glass, perfect for knitting the beads are all large enough for knitting which is very unusual.

the factory also has the largest amount of novelty beads and crystal beads as well a real pearls.
