Over the summer i was asked to start a children's after school knitting club at my local primary school we opened it up to 12 children of all ages and i thought only a few would want to start maybe on the first lesson we would have 5 to 7 children.
how wrong i was only three days after the first newsletter went out we had over 30 children wanting to join we now have a wait list and will be opening a new group every term.
The first lesson went surprisingly well many of my kids had not knitted before and all seemed to be getting along quite well with the children's needles and wool.
